2025 iihf world juniors, ottawa

For the first time in World Junior Hockey history, a drone was utilized inside the Canadian Tire Center to provide live drone coverage of the semi finals, bronze medal and gold medal games. Working alongside TSN, BlackHawk flew 4 games providing live drone video that was woven throughout the broadcast. The environment was extremely challenging, but we were able to capture these games and provide footage to the viewership that was never seen before!

2024 NHL STANLEY CUP FINAL - EDMONTON, AB

BlackHawk Aeronautical Solutions Inc. worked with the NHL during the 2024 Stanley Cup Playoffs for the Edmonton Oilers. During this time, we provided live coverage of the games including the Oilers Watch Parties, Military fly bys and the outdoor concerts including Shania Twain and Loud Luxury.

2023 NHL Heritage classic - EDMONTON, AB

BlackHawk Aeronautical Solutions Inc. worked directly with the National Hockey League to provide live drone coverage of the 2023 Outdoor Heritage Classic game between the Edmonton Oilers and the Calgary Flames. Throughout the duration of the game, live shots of Commonwealth Stadium and the game were broadcast live by our drone pilots.

CFL Edmonton Elks - EDMONTON, AB

BlackHawk Aeronautical Solutions Inc. supported the live and in house broadcast of all Edmonton Elks home games at Commonwealth Stadium. A first in the CFL, BlackHawk used a drone to cover game play directly on the field. Capturing live a video feed from the drone, TSN was able to provide the broadcast audience with an immersive dynamic view of the game never seen before.
